After a certain age, obese women are likely to suffer from a variety of health disorders. Among them, the most common ones are the breast cancer. This has been seen to get established mostly among postmenopausal women. Particularly among those who are elderly and have an increased body weight. Basically, it is supposed that before menopause the increased body weight enhances the risk of breast cancer.
In case of premenopausal and postmenopausal breast cancer, the mechanism of the body weight and obesity risks relates to the hormonal balance inside the body. Mostly it is seen that not just the hormone-like estrogen but other relative factors like genes, insulin stress, growth factors, leptins, overweight, transcriptional factors and others relate to the cause of breast cancer like disorders.
Causes of breast cancer
If we look into a perfect research material, we can find that majority of chances are there for women to suffer from breast cancer and there are different factors responsible for it. But the basic one can be age and weight which induces the activation of genes like BRCA1 and BRCA2 which are associated with ovarian cancer.
Apart from that it even happens in many cases that women who get menstruation before the age of 12 and menopause after the age of 55 are likely to have breast cancer which is majorly seen in overweighing women. This kind of cancer is most commonly seen across the USA which ranges from 23 % to 40% of the population.
This is because of the faulty process of lactation or certain kind of unhealthy eating habits or alcohol consumption and smoking. Further, that would result in the promotion of carcinogenic mechanism to initiate tissues of the breast to mutate towards cancer formation.
Looking for the risk factor, mostly women are considered to be the suffers. Generally, women after an age of 60 are prone towards the disorder. Mostly the receptor-positive tumors are estrogen hormone synthesis with receptor-positive which is because of the excessive fat deposits inside the body.
Apart from that, there is hereditary breast-ovarian cancer syndrome which is the significant cause of breast cancer. Generally, it is considered as a kind of syndrome which is higher than the normal level of breast cancer as being related to the genetic origin of the disease.
Not just the BRCA1 and BRCA 2 are responsible for breast cancer, but even there are other genes like those of TP53, PTEN, CDH1, STK11, CHEK2, ATM those are seen to be the leading cause of breast cancer in women.
Diagnosis of Breast cancer is possible with microscopic analysis. Here the tissue sample or the biopsy is being collected from the affected area and is screened. This is further implanted with a physical examination of the breast and mammography which offers with an approximate likelihood as like a lump of cancer that is detected as a lesion or a cyst and can be done by a fine needle aspiration process or through cell cytological assay. Apart from that one can also diagnose breast cancer by core biopsy or vacuum-assisted breast biopsy.
The cause of breast cancer might be the hormonal level, genetic, food habits, and even a faulty lactation process. But at the same time, there are procedures which can even cure the disorder to great extent in a natural way which is to maintain a balanced weight according to the age group.
